Cats, Cats, and More Cats!

So maybe I am the crazy cat lady but I love all of my little guys/girls ! This post only features four of the six. Yes I have six. They make good subjects to photograph when I don’t have any people to photograph. I love how each one of them has their own personality and they are all so different. I could go on and on about each one of them and all of the cute things they do but I am not going to because chances are you don’t care that much haha. =)

Daytona beach

I just got back from a trip to Daytona Beach with my family. It was really nice to be able to get away for a little bit. Here are some photographs that I took of my Fiancee Austin and I on Daytona Beach at sunrise. I am so excited to be getting married this October! I love this man so much! I can’t wait to be his bride!

The People

This is a series of photographs that I have been working on over the past eight months. I have enjoyed this project so much. I love that people have been so real with me. They opened up their homes and work places and let me come in and capture a part of their live’s, that is what this project has been about, capturing people for who they truly are. I wanted the photographs to be intimate and real. I choose to use an environment that was personal to whoever I was photographing. I wanted to add in details as many details of each persons life as possible. I wanted to show an array of different people, of different age, race and with different interests, but overall I wanted them to be sincere. This project has taught me that everyone has character, and everyone is special and unique in their own ways. Sometimes I don’t think we realize that, we overlook it just like so many other things in our lives. I encourage you all to take a step back and appreciate those around you, and get to know who they really are. It is so important to be sincere in who you are. There is no need to fake anything or pretend to be something your not. You are beautiful, remember that.
